Bennettsbridge had a great win away at Dicksboro tonight in Palmerstown.   The lads started very well and were very unlucky to go in at half time a point down after hitting the upright twice and the ball being scrambled off the Dicksboro line too.  The lads started the second half brightly and after some great point taking the Bridge got the opening goal.  Dicksboro replied with a goal of their own after some lax defending but the lads replied to the soft goal with some great individual and team scores.  The bridge ran out winners on a scoreline of 1-16 to 1-08.  Next up for the Bridge is Freshford at home next Saturday.  Bennettsbridge lined out tonight as follows: Ben Tynan, Bill O Neill, James Moran, Aidan Byrne, Eddie Murphy, Gareth Hickey, Sean Wemyss, Michael Shiel (0-3), Eddie Fitzgerald, Dylan Walsh (0-1), Willie Murphy, (0-6, incl 1'65), Shane Byrne (0-2), Gary Geoghaghan (0-1), Kevin Brennan (0-1), Richie Walsh (1-02) Subs - Tim Dooley, Michael Power, Shane Nolan, Brian O Neill, Joseph Murphy, Maurice Walsh, Tom Kiely.
