The Junior B team took on Carlow Town in the League last Saturday evening on a wet, windy and very soft pitch in the village. Playing against the wind in the first half it took just 4 minutes before the home side hit the net when Tom Kiely tapped in the first of his three goals. By half time the Bridge were in a comfort zone leading 2-5 to 0-2. Things got worse for the visitors after the break and in the end the scores read 4-16 to 0-5. The 4th goal came from Patrick O’Neill but it was always easy for the home side with points flowing from all quarters. The best of the points came from Luke Dowling in the first half and Kevin Brennan in the second. The Team was B Tynan, A Byrne, S Nolan, B O’Neill, S Byrne, E Fitzgerald, S Wemyss, E Murphy(0-1), L Dowling(0-2),D Walsh(0-4), P O’Neill(1-0), K Brennan(0-6), J Murphy(0-1), T Kiely(3-1), M Walsh(0-1).
