The Bennettsbridge club were back on the field on Friday night last when the Junior B team lined out against a team that have caused us problems in the past. This time there were no such worries with a comfortable victory despite a few players not available due to injury and work commitments. Playing into a slight breeze in the first half the home side were quick to find their range and by half time the lead on a score of 1-9 to a single point. The second half saw no reprieve for the visitors and the final score of 2-16 to that same point was no fluke with our lads totally in control. Scores came from all over the park with 8 different players scoring for the home side and the goals coming from Aidan Byrne in the first half  and a deadly finish from Joe Murphy in the second who had come on as a sub just 10 minutes earlier.
