All roads lead to Croke Park Sunday 15 February

The club and community are coming alive in anticipation of All Ireland Final Day on Sunday next. All roads lead to Croke Park on Sunday with the Bridge Boys lining out in the AIB Junior All Ireland Club Final. The hard work has been put in over the last 12months and now only Fullen Gaels and 60minutes stand between The Bridge and All Ireland glory. We have become used to success with the county teams and players like James Mc Garry representing the club and we always got behind the team. This time round we have 37 lads from the parish heading off along with the management team on a bus and the excitement is growing. We all need to get our colours up from our windows, our chimneys and our gates and let the team know we are united behind them. The number of busses traveling is growing but there are still places available on the club bus. If you want a seat booked contact Alan on 086 3330836. The team and mentors post match dinner is in Langtons on Sunday evening. There is an opportunity for everyone to join in the celebration dinner and if you want to be a part of the fun you can book your ticket in advance from Mary Blanchfield on 087 9113317. Tickets cost €15 for a 3 course meal. You can also try your luck and cards are now in the shops in the village and for just €2 you can pick the score with the closest guess winning a generous prize. But the real prize for everyone is being in Croke Park and cheering on the famous Bridge colours. This is the moment: this is the hour: make sure you are there to witness what hopefully will be a day to remember. So get the colours up, come to the game and join in the celebrations.
